The Santa Deceit

So I've been listening to "Entrance in the Veil" this morning since Dr. Watson, our substitute principal, asked to hear it. I'm listening to it while taking down my Christmas tree and noticed a Santa ornament. I thought about what is so deceitful about Santa. First, there's none good but God. The idea there is a man who magically appears to give good children toys is intentionally meant to distract the one true God who gave His only begotten son. Secondly, God gave when we were yet sinners "bad" so that we may believe unto righteousness "good". It's not the other way around. Next, asking Santa to meet your needs is blaspheme against God. God's Word is clear that He, God, is our sufficiency. He opens the windows of heaven for you. It's not going to happen with Santa. Lastly, the idea of Santa is a lie that only leads to disappointment. Only bad things can come from lying to your children about Santa. One: they figure out there's no Santa, so if parents lie so can God. Two: they don't get what they asked for because they didn't go to God, they went to Santa. Parents beg, borrow, and steal money to give their children "a Christmas." A clear example how to not go to God and you can do it on your own. The ultimate goal is to get people's hearts turned from God. The first lie was "you will be like God." Advertisements have already stated ,"Be the Santa." Make no mistake. These statements are synonymous. So as I considered throwing the Santa ornament out, I placed my phone under the tree and unwrapped it from the branches. It's heavy so it fell within centimeters from my phone. I thought, "See I know this thing is not of God. It almost fell on my phone"
