Why not believe God for something impossible?
Why not expect his favor for you to be unstoppable?
Why not ask for something so ridiculous from Him,
and push your prayer life to the edge of presumption?
Why not?
Why not walk each step with the swagger of a champion?
Why not expect your strength to exceed that of Samson?
You were not called to be sad, you were not called to be weak
So why not expect words from Dad everytime that you speak?
Why not?
Why not live your life as a victory?
Why not walk like I believe that His grace is sufficient for me?
Step out of your comfort zone and into the light
There is a reason He strengthened you with power and might
Too long you have spent on your belly in the dust
So why not make today the day that you walk out on your trust?
Why not make today the best day of your life?
Why not live today as literally Christ?
Why not expect a miracle every hour?
Why not deliver millions of people with Christ's power?
Why not expect your walk to oppress the devil?
Why not make everyday his hell?
Why not heal the sick and raise the dead?
Why not make today the day that you're the one in his head?
You are the one with the power of life,
so why not make him regret the day he crucified Christ?
Why not ruin his every plan of attack,
until he is the one begging for Christ to come back?
God's word works, like He promised it would
So why not expect your life to be good?
Why not expect your life to be great?
Why wait?
Why waste another day on sickness or depression,
when all you have to do is decide to let God in?
Why not let today be the day that you truly forgive?
Why not make the simple choice to finally fully live?
You've nothing to lose and everything to gain
So why not refuse to live your life in pain?
You've no right to be injured, but you've EVERY right to healing
So why not soak every prayer in believing?
Why not pray for something amazingly huge,
Something that you alone could never do?
Why not pray so big, and so impossible,
that God has to prove that His power is unstoppable?
Why not live everything that you know,
and see how far you and God can really go?
Make today the day that you give God's power a shot
His word always works, so don't ask why; but
Why Not?

Prayer Request for Jordan and Niles- FOLLOW UP
I wanted to let you all know that Jordan was accepted into the University of Memphis Project Seed Program! He will be working on real projects with a team of Chemistry professors and graduate students this Summer.
Yes, that is exciting. What is more exciting is I've noticed Jordan has been honing his relationship with God. In this situation he got clear on what he wanted and moved when and how God said to move. I am looking forward to both Jordan and Niles getting to know our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as their personal savior, friend, and big brother more and more each day.
Thank you for your prayers and love. I am so in love with this Family of God and implore each of us to continue in prayer for each other, our children, and families.
Love,
Angel

Subject: Resend- Prayer Request for Jordan and Niles
Good Morning My Redeemed Brothers and Sisters in Christ!
To take full advantage of this great body of Christ we have been called to, I have a prayer request. Please pray for my sons, Niles and Jordan. They both have high stakes tests to take in the near future. Today at 6 pm Niles will be taking an achievement test. He needs to score the same or better than 80 percent of children who have taken the test (80th percentile). By making this score he has a wider range of middle schools he can attend.
In March, Jordan will be taking the ACT college entrance exams. He is studying most every night. We are believing for a score that will make him eligible for scholarships and to enter the best college for him.
Ephesians 3:15-20
Of whom (God, the Father of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ) the whole family in heaven and earth is named...
* That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man...
* That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith...
* That ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what [is] the breadth, and length, and depth, and height...
* And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge
* That ye might be filled with all the fulness of God!
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us!
What a cool package deal!!!!

Burned Biscuits
Burned Biscuits
When I was a boy, Mama liked to cook breakfast food for supper every now and then. I remember an evening in particular when she had made breakfast, after a long, hard day at work. On that evening so long ago, Mama placed a plate of eggs, grits, sausage and extremely burned biscuits in front of Daddy. I remember waiting to see if he would notice.
But, all daddy did was reach for his biscuit, smile at Mama and ask me how my day was at school. I don't remember what I told him that evening but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that ugly burned biscuit. He ate every bite of that thing...never made a face or said a word about it!
When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing Mama apologize to Daddy for burning the biscuits. And I'll never forget what he said. "Honey, I love burned biscuits every now and then."
Later that evening, when I went to kiss Daddy good night, I asked him if he really liked his biscuits burned? He wrapped me in his arms and said, "Your Mama put in a hard day at work today and she's real tired. And besides, a little burned biscuit every now and then never hurt anybody!"
As I've grown older, I've thought about that evening many times. Life is not always fair and it is full of imperfect things and imperfect people and I'm not the best, at much of anything, I forget birthdays and anniversaries just like everybody else. But what I've learned over the years, is that learning to accept each other's faults and choosing to celebrate each others differences, is one of the most important keys to creating healthy, growing, and lasting relationships.
And that's my prayer for you today...that you will learn to take the good, bad and ugly parts of your life and lay them at the feet of God. Because in the end, He's the only One who will be able to give you a relationship where a burnt biscuit ain't such a big deal!
This can be extended to any relationship. In fact, understanding, is the real basis of all relationships, be it brother-sister, husband-wife, parent-child, partners or just plain old friendship!
"Don't put the key to your happiness in someone else's pocket - keep it in your own."
So, please pass me a biscuit, and yeah, the burned one will be just fine!
And PLEASE pass this along to somebody who has enriched your life. Be kinder than necessary because everybody you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
"Life without God is like an unsharpened pencil - it has no point."
Yay God!

Thank You! - Prayer Request for Jordan and Niles
Thank you for all of you that have prayed and will pray. How awesome is it we get to talk to God, the master physician, the master builder, the life force that causes a heart to beat, the loving Father who sacrificed His only begotten Son so we could be His, and the loving who raised His son from the dead so that we are made alive from the inside to the outside?!!!
I've had the most wonderful time with Niles reviewing for his test. Chris Carey's wonderful teaching from last Sunday has resounded in my heart- Prove God! Go get your own Psalms 107. And the wonderful thing about it is God has a bunch of Psalms 107s for each and every one of us.
We don't know the outcome of Niles' test yet, but one thing is for sure- Just as a Father tosses their child up, catches them, and tosses them up again, our Daddy God is right there to catch us, and hold us, as we squeal in delight. "Again Daddy. Do it again!"
Thank you everybody!
Yay God!

I explained these verses to Niles this morning. After reading "...and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge." I told him that knowing the love of Christ allows all the knowledge you need to be passed or understood.
I then asked Niles to illustrate, "What would Jesus Christ make on this achievement test?" He said, "Jesus Christ would make a 100!"
