Build Confidence in God

Build Confidence in God
Often we dont know what to believe when it comes to God's Word. This person says one thing and this person says another. So when we are faced with a decision to make we can't decide what's the absolute best for us. The answer is always found in God's pure, complete Word. (KJV) 2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
Prophesy- forth telling, can be speaking the future. It's speaking for God. Private interpretation- one's own Interpretation is not translation

Choice:
Either there is no right interpretation or the bible interprets itself. Answer: Different men wrote the Bible, but every single word came from God. (KJV) Jeremiah 1:2 To whom the word of the LORD came...
(KJV) Jeremiah 1:4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,...
(KJV) Jeremiah 2:1 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying...

Jeremiah, Moses, Paul, and all the others wrote exactly what God told them to write. (KJV) 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
God-breathed- from God's very own breath

(KJV) Galatians 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
(KJV) Galatians 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught [it], but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Build confidence in this Word of God.
(KJV) 1 Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received [it] not [as] the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

Have confidence that your belief in the revealed Word of God works in you effectually. God's Word works EFFECTUALLY in them THAT BELIEVE. Yay God!

No one can make you inferior without your consent

No one can make you inferior without your consent- Eleanor Roosevelt presented by Cassie Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: -1 Peter 5:8
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: -Romans 8:16
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. -Romans 8:17
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. -Romans 8:37
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; -Ephesians 1:7
And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another. -Romans 15:14

I Finally Get Genesis!

About 18 months ago I asked God to see the first five books of the bible the way David saw it.

2Sa 6:5 And David and all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of [instruments made of] fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals
2Sa 6:14
And David danced before the LORD with all [his] might; and David [was] girded with a linen ephod.

Acts 13:14-31
Acts 13:32 And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,
Mat 22:43
He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,"The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?"

Mar 12:36
For David himself said by the Holy Ghost,

David saw Genesis as God's Grace...
Gen 3:21
Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

Instead of a sentence of physical death God provided a substitute- an animal's skin to cover the sin of Adam and Eve.

From here, God established this "sin substitution system" where animals were sacrificed for people's transgressions against God.

And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring* and hers; he will crush* your head, and you will strike his heel."

The promise of the Father- God would provide a wall of hostility, a barrier between the devil and mankind through a man born of a woman.

(KJV) Genesis 4:1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
(KJV) Genesis 4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee [shall be] his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Genesis 4:7 Is there not, if thou dost well, acceptance? and if thou dost not well, at the opening a sin-offering is crouching, and unto thee its desire, and thou rulest over it.' (YLT)

Adam = man

Seth = appointed

Enosh = mortal

Cainan = possesses sorrow

Mahalalel = the blessed of God

Jared = shall come forth

Enoch = teaching

Methuselah = his death shall bring it

Lamech = powerful

Noah = rest and comfort

“mankind appointed mortal has sorrow, but the blessed of God shall come forth teaching that his death will bring powerful comfort and rest.”

Summary: God in his infinite mercy and grace provided a way for man to live and have the choice to call upon His name. Some took this chance at life and recognized there is no life without God's grace- others did not.

David is one who chose life. In fact he rejoiced at God's law. For in it he knew there was the permanent savior and payment for sins- Jesus Christ. And at that we will all dance and rejoice!

Women in the Church

Women in the Church
(KJV) Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened [his] mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons.

The question of women speaking in the church is a sincere question people have. Through using biblical research tools we can look at the context of verses that seem to contradict the many clear verses on the topic. The unclear section...
(KJV) 1 Timothy 2 Verse 12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

It would seem here, after all Paul was God-inspired to write about the many women who spoke God's Word, that God had now changed His mind. Since all scripture is God-inspired
(2 Peter 1:20-21) you must hold the unclear section in light of the abundant clear sections.

Your daughters shall prophesy...

Foretold here in Joel:
(KJV) Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, [that] I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. Verse 29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

It comes to past in Acts:
(KJV) Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

Women move the word...

Lydia
(KJV) Acts 16:14 And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard [us]: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul. Aquilla and Pricilla...
(KJV) Acts 18:26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto [them], and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

Daughters prophesied....
(KJV) Acts 21:8-9 And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.

Phebe and more...
A third of the people saluted for teaching people God's word in Romans 16 are women.
(KJV) Romans 16:1 I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea.

More women...
(KJV) Philippians 4:3 And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and [with] other my fellowlabourers, whose names [are] in the book of life.

So what is it? Women stay silent or speak for God and get people healed and delivered in the name of Jesus Christ? Looking at the context of 1 Timothy, God is saying- "Don't teach any other doctrine."
(KJV) 1 Timothy 1:3 As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine. In fact the main idea of the entire section is...
(KJV) 1 Timothy 1:5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and [of] a good conscience, and [of] faith unfeigned.

Love God with a mind renewed, transformed by the power of the risen Christ. Men were making a "shipwreck" of the truth of Christ...
(KJV) 1 Timothy 1:7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.
(KJV) 1 Timothy 1:19 Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:
1:20 Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.
In chapter 2 Paul says pray for the blasphemers and the kings and queen in authority. Conclusion
During this time of Roman rule vain philosophies were abundant. One such was of the goddess Diana. People worshipped Diana figures and chanted her name. (Acts 19) This false doctrine stood in direct opposition of God's Word of salvation through his son. God outlines here in 1 Timothy what we should do in a world were people oppose His Word. Pray for them. Do not at all be apart of the systems of the world. Keep teaching and being a witness of the power of Jesus Christ as he has brought a great deliverance in your life just as he did in Paul's (1 Timothy 1:12-14). Speak His Word in an orderly manner. Women out not speak while others are speaking and men ought not make a wreck of the truth of God's Word. Yay God!

No Fear

No Fear
You're born with the characteristics of your parents. After being born again you are a new creation.
Colossians 2:9 the God head is the head God dwellers in Jesus Christ. You are complete in Him.
Outside of Jesus Christ you are not complete.
Inside of yourself you have nothing. The flesh profiteers nothing.
You look to God and not yourself.
Fear- the basic thing that keeps us from doing
2 Timothy 1:7
Read the Word to see who you are now that you're born again.
You have all the characteristics of the fullness of God in you. You dont get told who you are. It is available to love people. You are peaceful . These are characteristics you would not have if your werent a son of God. Just because you feel feel or incapable in a situation doesn't mean you are incapable.
John 9:17
John 20:19 You don't have to guess, look at the exAmples of what fear does to people. They close themselves up.
Acts 2:14 Now they are bold.
In verse 2 They got something from God they knee they didn't have before.
Because we have the Spirit of God we have boldness and access with confidence before God. If you want to be a fearless son of God, try it out.
All we have to do but walk out on it.

There is No Darkness in Him at All

Idiom of Permission - God's Word as Shared by Dottie Tompary

Continuing our study in being "Bible Detectives" we looked at the "Seven Steps to Biblical Accuracy." Number seven is "The words must be understood in light of the figures of speech."

Figures of Speech- are thoughts stated unusually to get your attention.
Idioms- are figures of speech so common to a group of people that it has lost the strong emphasis that other figures might carry. Example: Lani spilled the beans.
Idiom of Permission- when one person gives permission for an action but is instead described as responsible for performing the action. Example: My mother made me mad. Your mother did not make you mad. You chose to get mad.
Examples in the Bible:
Genesis 19:24 "the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire"
Exodus 10:20 "the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart"
2 Samuel 6:7 "God smote him"
The following accounts show how the Idiom of Permission is explained in God's Word:
Samuel was written from man's point of view: 2 Samuel 24:1 "And again the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he *moved David against them to say, Go, number Israel and Judah.
Chronicles was written from God's point of view: 1 Chronicles 21:1 " And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel."
 Another example:
Exodus 9:12 "And the LORD *hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had spoken unto Moses."
Exodus 8:32 "And Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go."
This would seem to be a contradiction. Let's look at one more example:
Exodus 12:23 For the Lord will pass though to *smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door and will not suffer (allow- Idiom of Permission) the destroyer to come into your houses to smite you.
Now wait a minute! Is it Lord or the destroyer doing the smiting? No, no, no - the destroyer is doing the smiting here. Thus the name "destroyer."

Explanation:
God is the best Father. (John 3:16- "For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.") He loves you unconditionally and never possesses you. You always have free will because he gave it to you. He goes so far as to limit Himself to your free will. However there is Satan, the "destroyer", the "author of death", "the thief." John 10:10 says "The thief cometh not but for to steal and to kill and to destroy. I (Jesus Christ) am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly. "
God also abides by His own laws. The law of Gravity works. You cannot go jump off a building and blame God if you break your arm. You chose to jump. This is a consequence of your decision to jump. Consequences are good too. Without them you'd jump and break your bones all up and render them useless. Without feeling the heat of the stove you'd burn your skin to the point it couldn't protect your body. In God's law is a hedge of protection. Stay in God's law and you're protected. You can choose to leave anytime but isn't it great that God's maintains His law for you to rely on!
James 1:17 "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and cometh down from the Father of lights with whom is no variableness (God NEVER changes. He is not killing people at one time and saving people at the same time!) neither shadow of turning."
In fact Matthew 22:32 says "...God is not the God of the dead, but of the living."
1 John 4:16 "And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love and he that dwelleth in God and God in him."

*Each situation where God's Word says God did anything dark or bad it can be understood as "permitted."
God is all powerful and there is no equality of power between Him and Satan. Satan has dominion over the world because God limited Himself by giving Earth's dominion to Adam, and Adam gave that dominion to Satan. God does not take back, even when you do the wrong thing. Just as the writers inspired by God to write the Old Testament Bible rarely fathomed giving Satan any credence, we can learn from this and do the same. Instead we can keep God's praise on our lips and praise Him for His infinite mercy and goodness.

The Ultimate Giver

The Ultimate Giver- God's Word as Shared by Allison Washburn

I John 4:18 -19
There is no fear in love...we love him because he first loved us. We want to be the giver and put God in the position of receiver but God is the giver.
Genesis 1:1
God in beginning without God there is no life, no air, no light... Without God there is nothing. Anything that comes from us is just returning to Him what He gives us.
John 3:16
It does not say he loved perfection. He so loved the world... Perish is eternal. It is not dying. The opposite of death is life.
Genesis 4:1-4
God talked to Cain while Cain was this angry person. (God is so loving) "If thou doest well" can be translated "If thou offer correctly."
Everything requires blood- without blood there is no remission of sins.
Hebrews 9:22
"Sin lies at the door"- sin offering

Cain was bad and Able was good. Right ?
NAo- they were both born of Adam. Able looked to the Christ to come. His attitude was - I know I'm am a sinner and I need help. Cain's attitude was- I want to do things my way and for God to accept it.

God made a way for us to come to Him through His Son.
He accepts us because we accept His offering.
We are the receivers. God is the giver.
We don't tell God what to do.

we have decisions to make. God never said submit to me and I'll take over. No- we have free will. We want those choices we make to be acceptable to God. It's not about how much "I, I, I did." It is about God and the sacrifice God gave.
God is not a hard Lord. He is kind. He gave so we can give.

Romans 11:29-34
If any man needs wisdom, let him ask God...

I Chronicles 29:10-16
We don't have anything to be thankful for that God didn't give us first  without God there is not even a choice.

Deuteronomy 30:10-20
We walk the walk of love and thereby keep the commandments. He cares that we acknowledge Him. "In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths."

II Chronicles 7:1-3
When God accepted the sacrificed fire came down and consumed it.

Acts 2:1
The tongues of fire equals the sacrifice of Jesus Christ was accepted.

Acts 27:18

Pentecost Day in the Word Part 3

Pentecost Day in the Word Part 3
Chris Carey
The Difference Between Spirit In and Spirit On
God's spirit had to be earned in the Old Testament. It could be taken back. Elisha asked for a double portion. Now we did not earn it. It cannot be taken back. You can speak in tongues and walk with power even when you've messed up.

The Topic of Philippians

Philippians teaches how to contend with life's adversity together with God's people.

The Greatest Gift a Father Can Give to His Children is to Love Their Mother

The Greatest Gift a Father Can Give to His Children is to Love Their Mother
- Dr. Wierwille Laura Crone Sunday Morning Fellowship
Ephesians 5:21 Be subject to one another in the fear and reverence of God. This is a full giving. Not giving a little bit. Give 100%. Christ gave it all. It wasn't about him. It's a huge charge God gives men- to give until you have no more. Christ loved the church despite it's imperfections. This love is agape- the love of God. This husband is to love his wife with the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation. The washing of water- refers to John 15:3
Now you are clean through the word which I have spoken to you. Set apart your wife by bathing her in the Word. Renewed mind- Romans 12:1
Beseech is "I beg you.." because I cannot do it for you. We have to do it- renew your minds to the Word of God. We deliberately choose the lordship of Jesus Christ. All of our minds have been fashioned to the schemes of the world. We have to deliberately change our thinking to the word. It is an error to think when you're born again your mind is changed. You can't marry someone thinking you're going to change them. There is a three fold lordship-
Romans 10:9&10 Jesus Christ is Lord- not you. The Word is Lord- renew your mind to what the Word says. If is on- it's on. If it's off the Word- change your thinking. Love is Lord- the reason you achieve the Love of God in the renewed mind is because you put the Word on in your mind. Study it, make a diligent effort to ...
Recall the washing of water refers to the renewed mind
1 Corithians 12:31 Says "covet" which means "desire" all these gifts, but verse 13:1 says none of these compare to love. You can give it all but without love there is no profit. The right kind of love, the love that Christ had when he gave himself completely. It gets to the point where "self" shrinks back and the other person becomes more important. Even if there's issues in someones life, love doesn't think evil. It only sees the great Christ in the person. Love believes, hopes, and endures all things according to the Word- it's not gullible. It believes God is going to cover a multitude of sins, that God is our sufficiency. It hopes in the hope of the return of Jesus Christ and the power therein in each situation. This is the one thing God says I beg you to do. I can't do it for you. You want this relationship, you want it to be hot- take the time to read the Word, pray with your family. Any other way you are just prey for the adversary. All of that in that bathing with the water of the word. Ephesians 5:25-33 this is first. It has to happen before the kids Ephesians 6:1.

Let's Witness!

Thank you Matt! I praise God every time I think of you. Your love of God radiates in through everything you do. There have been several times I talked to God about something my family needed and God put it on your heart to do it! You make me want to do that for people. So, of course I would love to take this ministry to the streets. We can't keep it just for ourselves. Name the date we will be there. Angel

> I think we had a wonderful weekend together and I'm very thankful for you guys! Just wanted to let you know! Keep speaking God's Word! > I think sometime we should plan a witnessing night or a day where we go out witnessing together. You can be thinking about it.

Pentecost Day in the Word 2011 Carole Bowden

Photo

1 Timothy 2:4 Grow up!
Hosea 4:6 People are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is God breathed. God wrote the bible to pour out his heart. You can't get below the surface unless you get your head in the book. Romans 12:2 the way you change is to change your mind. She used to think God was angry; she learned God's true nature and had to change her mind. Ephesians 4:15 God wants us to grow up by speaking and sharing your heart the things God is blessing you with
2 Corinthians 5:17 this is what happened to Carole. Read > Think> Speak> Do
The Christian Life
Be workmen of the Word
Zoe life - Acts 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being...
Ephesians 2:1 Before I was quickened (made alive) I was still dead in trespasses and sins. What she was missing is the two way communication with God. She was ignorant of the still, small voice. She had to learn to listen to it. Genesis 3:4,5 the devils lie is you don't need this special connection. Give it up and you'll be like God. There is nothing more frustrating than not being able to understand each other. Another great lesson she learned is freedom of will. You have to consciously invite God into your life. When you are born again you have Christ in you. You have the free will to be "in Christ."
God realizes that he has to prove his love and trustworthiness to you before. Progress can happen real fast when people trust, love, and obey God. He wants you to make an investment in Him as he has invested in you. God's most precious thing on Earth is His Word and He's entrusted it to you. When you read who you are in Christ, you will bring all that stuff you've been hiding to God and get over the condemnation. Choose life today!

Pentecost Day in the Word 2011

Pentecost Day in the Word 2011
Part 1
Matt Tompary
2 Timothy 1:7 Matt was reminded in Paul's prayer : we've been given power, love, and sound mind
We're just scratching the surface. You are not who you used to be. We get born again and we must grow up. T
The starting point of any life is birth. We have newness of life...
John 3:1 no man can do these miracles unless God be with him. YOU CANNOT see the kingdom of God except a man be born again. Nicodemeous couldn't see verse 4 and 9. Verse 17- He did it when we needed it. Romans 10:9 and 10 it's no longer dependent on JC. Nicodemeous needed something to get out of the dark. Here it is, our starting point. You look like your parents. If you got all the characteristics you needed to grow up. Being born again of God's spirit you have all you need. There are limits to being your parents children. With Gods spirit your potential is limitless. Philippians 1:3-6 When he reads this he thinks about the Memphis believers. Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy. Romans 8:9
The new birth is a spiritual birth. It's beyond the realm of the five senses. Look how many times "Christ in you" is referred to here. Romans is the starting point for finding out who you are. Verse 11 Spirit quickens your corruptible bodies. Verse 15 He's not God the creator to us here. He's your personal daddy
It wasn't possible to be Gods kids before Pentecost. This gives us a life... Not just exist. Imagine life without the spirit of God. We can Speak in Tongues! Verse 16

Galatians 4:4-7 heir of God's through Christ Acts 2:1-4 day of Pentecost (spoke in tongues)

I John 3 Behold
Ephesians 3:27 When is then last time God created? He created in you...
Colossians 3:10 we can't get any better than that!
1 Peter 1:23 being born again (thank you God) being incorruptible by the Word of God. He just spoke it. Romans 5:18- 6:1-Look for "life" Saved is not some distant thing. It's right now. Romans is the starting point. It tells what we have, where we are, and where we are going. Corinthians were doing Romans 6:1
2 Corinthians 5:14-
Verse 16 Look at your bros and sisters in Christ like this "We know no man after the flesh."
Do you know how great you really are? This is reproof! You want to wake up loving God, you want to speak in tongues... If you have the attitude that you want to do better. God will show you what you need. When you have the Word over yourself, you will have the Word over your family, the Word over your town, Word over the World. Just fall in love with God. Carole Bowden

Fw: Opportunity to Believe God- THANK YOU!

I have to tell you guys that the Christ in us is truly powerful when we do not let it lay dormant. By 10 am yesterday all burdens I had concerning this situation lifted! I know you all prayed for me and God was able to move in the situation. It is such an awesome privilege we have to speak God's Word. God, the creator of the heavens and Earth, who keeps your  heart beating in perfect time- chooses to work through us! Wow! I am overjoyed that I could scroll through my email contact list and find all you Christ-filled believers!

For an update, not much has happened concerning finding the witness. The off duty detective that he talked to will not be back in until Friday. God led me to talk to my neighbor and he informed me TDOT has cameras on the interstate. I have talked to them and now they say I may need a lawyer to get the pics/video. I am just excited to see how God moves in the situation. The fact there are pics/ video somewhere is awesome to me.

Happy birthday Body of Christ!

Introduction From the Heart

Reaching the World with the Love of Christ- Part 2
Ken Petty
Ashish will gather the "young people" tomorrow. Young people have been moving the Word and he's going to ignite these kids. Yay God! Is this why we are here? I'm so excited!
Psalm 31:20 "The secret of Gods presence" God shares things with us he hasn't shared with anyone else. Psalm 25:14 The creator of the heavens and earth wants to show you His commitment to you. 2 Corinthians - God has made us able minsters
Psalms 27:4 David was rich and many things. The one thing I desire is to behold the beauty of the Lord! No matter what comes up in life go into Gods presence and say, "Hear I am."
Colossians 2:2-3 3:3 Your life is hid with Christ. Come to me to find out what I've made you to be. 1 Corinthians 14:2 "Howbeit in the spirit he speaks mysteries." God had given you a special language and when you speak it God is able to reveal things to you. David couldn't do this.

4. Tithe the first fruits of your labor and time
5. Fellowship with Likeminded Believers

JC taught the people in their vernacular even though their beliefs were off the truth of God's Word. John 9 "Whose fault is it?"
JC says forget about whose fault it is. We've got work to do. Wanna to supersize- keep moving forward. 2 Timothy 1:4,5,6, and 7 Stir that gift up. Let it sit, it will get religious. 1 Corinthians 15:9 and 10 We are who we are by the Grace of God. Paul says ,"I worked my butt off !"
The farmer took his little plot God gave him and made it into something. We don't rest in mediocrity. Make something of your gift! Galatians 6:3-5
Make the Word your own! If Gods blessing hasn't been yours, go get your own blessing.

Are You Growing?

Sunday Morning Fellowship Are You Growing? Kevin Gigiou
Home is where fellowship starts. Mark 4:1-
There should be nothing in the word you're afraid to read. Grab hold of the Word no matter who spoke it. We desire the crop without attention to that required to get it. Sone things are insta grow others require a process. Principles of growth is a walk. I'm
I willing to enjoy my season on growth?
Where Do You Want to Grow?
Section of scripture? Show things I've Never Seed Before. Is There Good Seed?
I'm I Good Soil?
Healing?
Prayer Life?
Marriage?

1 Corinthians 3 God gives the increase. He doesn't plant and water- you do that. He gives the increase. Growing to be more like Him until I see him face to face. Verse 4 "the way side"- where you are getting you're seed from? Where should I be going to get fed the word?
Verse 5 "not much Earth" "depth of Earth" We need to spend time growing roots. Verse 6-7 the environment has to be right. You are what the Word of God days you are. Our Christian life needs to be ramped up a bit- don't wait till somethings broken. Verse 15
We're passing seed to our family and friends Verse 17 You need roots. Don't burn up your time putting out fires. Verse they endure for a time. Lust chokes the Word.
Chase after the truth and find happiness.

Peter as shared by Laura Crone

Peter as shared by Laura Crone

John 4:34 God is a good God. He wants good things for you and has set forth principles to ignite great things in your life. I want it!
My meat is to serve the Lord. John 5:30
I seek not my own will. 2 Corinthians 5:14
The love of Christ constrains us... Live for Him. To constrain is to reach out over and over. The love of Christ constantly reaches out to us. Have a steady diet of going to the Word. There are certain principles to staying on the Word. If something has moved in your life, it's not God that's moved. Peter was a man's man. He had a family, was a fisherman, and had his own way of doing things. John 1:28-44
Matthew 4:13- end
Follow me Peter and Andrew. The stopped what they were doing. They were immediately obedient to his call. James, John, Zebedee, their father immediately followed him too. Mark 1:21, 22, 29-37
Luke 4:42-44
Peter stayed in Bethsaida
Luke 5:1-
In Matthew the disciples "left their nets" to fish for men. Here in Luke they are back to their fishing business not following JC in Luke 4:44. Peter is acting a little yucky. Maybe because Peter thought he should've stayed in Bethsaida. JC said launch out and cast your netS. Peter says, "I will let down one net." Whatever your business, do what the Word says. When we do what the Word says instead if being wise in our on thinking, we get blessed. You don't know better. Tap into the Spirit of God first! I need to redirect my heart to what you have to say God from what I want to do. Peters specific sin is pride. He'd been called to be a fisher of men and he was not doing that. Matthew 11:21 Bethsaida had an unbelief problem. JC was doing the will of the Father when he left and knew Bethsaida had a problem. He didn't tell Peter that and didn't have to. Luke 5:8-10
This is a great moment here. The beginning of Peter's ministry. He's decided, "Not my will but thine.". From that point further Peter faithfully followed. "They forsook all." The love of Christ had constrained him."

Ephesians 6:1 Children obey your parents in the Lord for this is right. Honor thy father and mother
It is the desire of the parent for their children to be throughly perfected. 2 Tim. 3:16

How to be Victorious in Every Situation

“How to Avoid Being a Failure” from The Bible Tells Me So by Victor Paul Wierwille

Subtitled: How to be Victorious in Every Situation

God’s Word is simple

Uncover the Positives

Believing God

Victory

World’s negatives and darkness

Making God too difficult.

Failure

Uncover the positives + Taking God at His Word = Victory

versus

The world's negatives and darkness + Making God too difficult = Failure

Steps to Victory

1.       SEEK ( I WILL HASTEN TO HIM!)

Matthew 6:33

·         “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. “

(Seek anything else first and all things will be subtracted from you)

·         “His righteousness” means confess that Christ, who is in you, paid the price for all your sin. You do not have to spend one more milli-second thinking about wrong doings. Any payment and restoration needed was accomplished in Christ’s crucifixion. AND you have been raised with him in victory. Any damages caused by sin is healed and restored. You are whole. (Think Terminator)

2.       CONFESS VICTORY (I WILL NOT BE AFAID)

Romans 10:9

·         “That if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart God hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved.”

3.       STAND! HEAD HELD HIGH  (I SHALL NOT BE MOVED)

So you seek the kingdom of God, you confess, you confess God’s righteousness is your own, and then turn around. YOUR SITUATION IS STILL THERE!

You may think, “Can I still do this?” “Can I rise up beyond all failure?” “Can I be sure?”

Yes! You can be as sure as God Himself!

“God stands behind His Word! He backs up His Word! He sees to it that His Word is performed!”

“In Him you are complete. You are a son of God with resources unlimited. With Him you cannot fail, only succeed. Without Him you cannot succeed, only fail.”

·         I have read “the book of endings” and we won!

·         Everything God has said has come to past, and everything God says will happen, will happen.

2 Peter 3:5

·         “By the word of God…are kept in store. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise… not willing any should perish but all should come unto repentance.”

2 Kings 5:13

And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, [if] the prophet had bid thee [do some] great thing, wouldest thou not have done [it]? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?

Ephesians 1:9

Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

3 John 1:2

Beloved above all things I wished thou mayest prosper and be in health.

Numbers 23:19

God [is] not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do [it]? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

So there are three steps to victory. It’s a fool-proof recipe.

1.       Seek God

 2. Confess victory in Christ

 3. Stand,unmoved from His Word

Love by Laura Sunday Morning Fellowship 2/20

Created with JotNot.
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/jotnot-scanner/id307868751?mt=8

Laura taught last Sunday at Fellowship. We learned that Love has priorities. 1. Love God 2. Love yourself 3. Love your neighbors (others). This ties into last week's Intermediate Class when Dr. Wierwille outlined the priorities in the Spirit Manifestations. Utterance manifestations is for you. They build you up. You have to be built up before you can help someone else. The others are to build up others. At Moorelife.org there is a series on "The Love Command" that explains how to love wiry the love if God in practical ways. Check it out.

Good News! Confession is Made Unto Salvation

Confess[1].docx (20 KB)

My Teaching Saturday, February 18:

Confess Unto Salvation

Say the Same God Says About You, Your Family, and Others

Romans 10:9 and 10- That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (made whole). For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and confession is made unto salvation.

It’s amazing that something so simple, saying the same thing God’s Word says, gives you a gazillion dollar package deal. To start, it saves you right now, makes you God’s kid forever, makes you whole, breaks the curse of sin and guilt over your life, gives you eternal life that starts right now… just for starters. All because you said the same thing God said about you.

Deut. 30:4 But the word [is] very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

Look at some of the cool stuff you get…

Luke 7:7 Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed.- HEALING.

Proverbs 14:1 Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands. PEACE IN THE HOME

I Chronicles 16:11 Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually. (meditating on God is how you get God’s strength.)- FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD

Luke 9:1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases- AUTHORITY

What you say and think important! Saying the same as what God says is power for His Word says, “God placed His Word Above All His Name.” You know God is powerful and His Word is above that.

So with so much riding on what we say, we must weigh our words and thoughts carefully.

Matt. 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.- YOUR THOUGHTS OVERFLOW AND COME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH

Luke 6:45 for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

So, why not memorize positive confessions for your life. While we’re at it, let’s say God’s Word for others too.

I have seen how thinking and speaking God’s Word for me, situations, and others can turn entire situations around. Yes people do have their free will for sure but when you speak God’s Word over people’s lives it seems they work to fit into what you have confessed for them. Don’t believe me, think about what happens when people are told only negatives about themselves. That person seems to work to fit into what has been confessed for them.

Confess these promises for yourself and someone else STARTING NOW!

2Cr 2:14

Always causes us to triumph in Christ!

Isa. 40:31

Renews my strength, mounts me up on wings like an eagle. I will run and not be weary… walk and not faint.

Jer. 42:3

The LORD my God will show us the way wherein we may walk, and the thing that we may do.

2 Cr. 3:6

I am able to minister God’s Words of Life!

Psalms 37:4

I delight myself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Luke 10:20b

My name is written in heaven.

Eph. 4:13

I speak the truth in love.

Eph. 4:13

I am growing up in Christ becoming more and more in every way like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.)

Eph. 2:4-10

That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of His grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God:

Not of works lest any man should boast.

Eph. 2:4-10

But who is rich and mercy for His great love wherewith God loved us.

Even when we were dead in sins hath quickened us together with Christ. And has raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

I Samuel 2:2 …

There is no rock like our God!

Eph. 3:19

For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

Romans 15:4 NLT

I am fully convinced, dear brothers and sisters, that you are full of goodness. You know these things so well that you are able to teach others all about them. NLT

Luk 10:19

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:20

Ephesians 3:17-20

Christ dwells in my heart by faith; being rooted and grounded in love,

May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

Eph. 3:17-20

Now unto Him (God) is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
