My Teaching Saturday, February 18: Confess Unto Salvation Say the Same God Says About You, Your Family, and Others Romans 10:9 and 10- That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (made whole). For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and confession is made unto salvation. It’s amazing that something so simple, saying the same thing God’s Word says, gives you a gazillion dollar package deal. To start, it saves you right now, makes you God’s kid forever, makes you whole, breaks the curse of sin and guilt over your life, gives you eternal life that starts right now… just for starters. All because you said the same thing God said about you. Deut. 30:4 But the word [is] very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. Look at some of the cool stuff you get… Luke 7:7 Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed.- HEALING. Proverbs 14:1 Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands. PEACE IN THE HOME I Chronicles 16:11 Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually. (meditating on God is how you get God’s strength.)- FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD Luke 9:1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases- AUTHORITY What you say and think important! Saying the same as what God says is power for His Word says, “God placed His Word Above All His Name.” You know God is powerful and His Word is above that. So with so much riding on what we say, we must weigh our words and thoughts carefully. Matt. 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.- YOUR THOUGHTS OVERFLOW AND COME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH Luke 6:45 for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. So, why not memorize positive confessions for your life. While we’re at it, let’s say God’s Word for others too. I have seen how thinking and speaking God’s Word for me, situations, and others can turn entire situations around. Yes people do have their free will for sure but when you speak God’s Word over people’s lives it seems they work to fit into what you have confessed for them. Don’t believe me, think about what happens when people are told only negatives about themselves. That person seems to work to fit into what has been confessed for them. Confess these promises for yourself and someone else STARTING NOW!             2Cr 2:14 Always causes us to triumph in Christ! Isa. 40:31 Renews my strength, mounts me up on wings like an eagle. I will run and not be weary… walk and not faint. Jer. 42:3 The LORD my God will show us the way wherein we may walk, and the thing that we may do.   2 Cr. 3:6 I am able to minister God’s Words of Life!     Psalms 37:4   I delight myself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.   Luke 10:20b … My name is written in heaven.       Eph. 4:13 I speak the truth in love.   Eph. 4:13   I am growing up in Christ becoming more and more in every way like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.) Eph. 2:4-10 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of His grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not of works lest any man should boast.   Eph. 2:4-10 But who is rich and mercy for His great love wherewith God loved us. Even when we were dead in sins hath quickened us together with Christ. And has raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. I Samuel 2:2 …   There is no rock like our God!   Eph. 3:19 I  know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, and am filled with all the fullness of God.   2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the Spirit of Fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Jer. 42:3 Whether we like it or not, we will obey the LORD our God to whom we send you with our plea. For if we obey him, everything will turn out well for us.NLT   Psalm 33:20 Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he [is] our help and our shield.   Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us Eph. 2:10 NLT For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.   Romans 15:4 NLT I am fully convinced, dear brothers and sisters, that you are full of goodness. You know these things so well that you are able to teach others all about them. NLT Luk 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:20     Ephesians 3:17-20    Christ dwells in my heart by faith; being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;       Eph. 3:17-20   Now unto Him (God) is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.   &nbs
