About three weeks ago my family all gathered around to hear God's Word. As we settled in Francis told us about Anatabloc, an anti-inflammatory supplement derived from anatabine. She gave us several examples of how pains she's had for years are gone after taking Anatabloc. Others pitched in the remedies they have found, and my mom couldn't resist putting her two cents in. After everyone finished saying what was working for them, Dave said, "It's been five years since God put it on my heart to work righteousness. Since then I have been sick one time- and that was a short time." Don't want to be sick? Get your head around "righteousness."
Romans 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Soon after I listened to Dr. Wierwille read different versions of Romans 5. For the first time verse 19 just jumped out at me. God had shown me some time ago that dwelling on the negatives of the world is the opposite of the accomplished work of Jesus Christ. Indeed I decided I would not ever again let my mouth or thoughts talk about how bad the economy was, how bad the politicians were, how evil the world was getting... In fact, Jesus Christ walked the earth during a time many people turned their hearts from God and were really evil. They crucified the Lord of Glory after all. After hearing Romans 5:19 however my heart became cemented in focusing only on God.
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners...
You don't have to look far to see the fallout from Adam's sin. That's what the devil wants you to focus on. "Sufficient is the day and the evil thereof."
BUT!!! ".....by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous."
BUT!!! "That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord."
For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, [which is] by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many
-GRACE REIGNS MUCH MORE- GRACE REGINS MUCH MORE- GRACE REIGNS MUCH MORE-
This means there is nothing you can see in the world that compares to the grace of God. There is no evil in the world, not Newton, Connecticut, not politics, not the economy, no poverty, nothing compares to the grace of God and His righteousness.
Keep your focus on God. Now all there is to do is find out what is this "grace."
Yay God
